Leadership
National Nurses Executive Advisory Council
Throughout history nurses have led the battles against every epidemic
faced by mankind. The National Nurses Advisory Council for Liver Wellness
and Hepatology (NNAC) continues in this same tradition. The Council was
established to promote liver wellness and improve hepatitis related outcomes
through the establishment of education and prevention programs at all
levels of society, collaborating with both public and private organizations.
Under the guidance of the Hepatitis Foundation International, registered
nurses with recognition, strength and vision in the field of viral hepatitis:
research, education, patient care, and prevention, were invited to participate
in planning and leadership for a National Nurses Advisory Council.
